The trapeze ring is a pivotal part of the trapeze setup. This ring allows the sailor to connect to the boat’s trapeze wires or ropes. By hooking into the trapeze ring and leaning out over the water, the sailor effectively extends their body away from the boat, creating a counterbalance to the force of the wind in the sails.

This 5mm wire trapeze ring has a crossbar halfway down the loop to give additional strength. It also offers a great location to tie the return elastic from the boat.
