A broken spring is usually the reason for a cleat failure. The Harken Cleat Spring replaces the spring in all standard size Harken cleats (150, 365, and 412).
The spring is easily replaced by removing the bottom pad in the cleat base and installing the spring over the posts in the base
A sping is required for each cam on the cleat (2 springs per cleat)
