Alexander Roberts Marine Eye Swage Terminal 5/16" Wire

The Marine Eye is a higher load version of the Aircraft Eye. This eye has a larger clevis pin hole and a thicker body compared to the aircraft type eye. Marine eyes are commonly used at the top of headstays and backstays when a fork or double strap fitting is found on the mast or using a masthead toggle. Also common at backstay bridles when double triangle plates are used to join the bridles to the primary backstay wire.
